When it comes to nature this region is very rich – it has a blue sea, a mild climate and a fertile soil. All this creates the perfect conditions for winemaking and allows the production of a wide wine variety from dry and sweet to sparkling and fortified wines. Campania produces wine of all three quality control categories – DOC, DOCG and IGT. A wide diversity of varieties is allowed, but the main grape is Aglianico which produces rich red wines that absorb all the nature’s abundance.
